Mila from Mars

Mila is a young woman. She is running from an abusive relationship. In her flight she reaches a border town. She is pregnant, alone and without money. But she finds a welcome she did not expect. The village is remote and quiet. Those living there are elderly women and men. They make their living from a cannabis field. Mila has known little kindness in her life. Because of it she closes herself off. But by the time the baby is born things have changed. She now has a new life and someone she loves. Even so her past has not let go of her. Vesela Kazakova and Assen Blatechki take the leads in Zornitsa Sophia’s Bulgarian film of 2004.
