Monsoon Mangoes

D. P. Pallickal wants to make films. He takes himself for the next great director. His passion for it is real enough. The work he actually turns out is not. His short films speak for themselves. His family makes fun of them. So do his friends. D. P. does not give up. He sets about his next project. He gathers a crew around him. What it is about is chasing an enthusiasm. The film shows the workings of the business. It is put together as a comedy. It was shot in Malayalam. Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Raaz, Vinay Forrt and Tovino Thomas appear in the hundred and thirty two minute film, an Indian production Abi Varghese finished in 2016.
