Monsters Run

Said and Nabil are friends. Nabil is a doctor. Said cannot have children. It has troubled him for years. Nabil proposes a solution. The proposal is a brain transplant. Part of a brain is to be taken from someone else. That man is called Abdul Qawi. Abdul Qawi is poor. He agrees to it for money. The operation goes ahead and is judged a medical success. Said still cannot have children, while Abdul Qawi is left with a heavy exhaustion, and the film argues over where science stands against faith. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Nour El-Sherif appear in the hundred and twenty minute film, an Egyptian production Ali Abdel-Khalek finished in 1987.
