Srikanth Nagothi's 2023 Telugu film brings two lines together. Madhumati, nineteen and raised in America, comes to Vizag for a wedding; Madhusudhan is an unemployed man whose marriage is ending. Their paths cross one evening. The film builds no romance between them; the narrative shows how two generations misread each other and makes neither the mature one. Naveen Chandra and Swathi Reddy lead. The dialogue is dense and the pace low. The tone is bitter. Who it's for: viewers of independent Telugu drama. Who it's not for: viewers expecting a romance; the film does not deliver one.
