What Move Is About
Eleven moves, eight friends. Philipp, Wiebke, Jessica, Maria, Swantje, Michael, Thomas and Dina are in their twenties and all of them are looking for something: a new city, a new job, a flat of their own, a new love or an old one. The looking never ends, which is why they keep meeting at the same ritual: somebody is moving. Boxes go from one end of Berlin to the other, and sometimes from one end of Germany to the other. Dietrich Brüggemann uses moving house as the condition of a generation. Relationships, jobs and cities keep changing; the only constant is the friends. The director's sister Anna Brüggemann is in the cast.
