OK! Madam

An ordinary family wins a holiday in Hawaii in a draw. The mother runs a small doughnut shop in the neighbourhood, the father has a decent job, and their daughter is excited. Shortly after take-off a group of armed men seize the plane. To save the passengers and her family, the mother has to reveal something: there is a life in her past she has hidden, and her husband does not know about it. Lee Cheol-ha combines action and comedy in a single space. The narrative uses the narrow aisles of the plane and the fights take place between the seats. The real comedy between husband and wife is what each has kept from the other. Uhm Jung-hwa plays the mother and Park Sung-woong the father. Who it's for: Viewers who like Korean action comedy, films set on planes, and family-based narratives. Who it's not for: The plot is predictable and the humour runs to type. The choreography of the action scenes is also uneven.
