What On Our Own Is About
Four children lose their mother. There is nobody left to look after them. The authorities will place them with foster families. That would mean being split up. The children do not want that. They make a decision. They set off without telling anyone. The person they are looking for is their uncle Jack. They are not sure where he is. The road is long and dangerous. They make wrong decisions along the way. Some of them have serious consequences. In the end they learn something. The film tells it with humour mixed in. Leigh Lombardi, Sam Hennings and Scott Warner appear in the eighty four minute film, an American production Lyman Dayton finished in 1988.
