What One Last Thing... Is About
Dylan is sixteen and dying of cancer. When a wish-granting charity asks what he wants, he does not give the answer anyone was expecting: he wants to meet the supermodel Nikki Sinclair. To his mother's horror, and with two friends helping, he goes to New York. The model spends time with him partly to repair her own image, but what Dylan wants is more than a photograph. Alex Steyermark's independent film treats the death as an unarguable background and puts a teenager's shyness and stubbornness in front of it. Michael Angarano plays Dylan, with Cynthia Nixon as his mother.
