What Palazzina LAF Is About
Caterino works at the vast Ilva steel plant in Taranto, and management finds him useful: he watches his workmates and reports who could be got rid of. What he asks for in return is strange. He wants to be sent to the Palazzina LAF, a building where punished employees still draw a wage but are given nothing whatsoever to do. Inside, he discovers the place is a machine for breaking people with emptiness. Riondino's first film as director comes from a real case that reached the Italian courts.
