Pasivadi Pranam

After losing his wife, Madhu has given himself over to drink; he holds no job and speaks to nobody. One day he comes across a small boy on the road: Raja is deaf, cannot speak, and is on his own. Madhu takes the child in. What he does not know is this: Raja is the only witness to a murder, and the killers are looking for him. Chiranjeevi plays Madhu in A. Kodandarami Reddy's Telugu film, with Vijayashanti opposite him. The pattern belongs to Indian cinema of the eighties: action, melodrama, songs and revenge all together. At the centre of the film is a child who cannot speak and a man who has stopped speaking, finding each other. It runs over two hours and twenty minutes.
