Norman Leto began the film in 2011, and what it attempts is to fit the development of the universe, from the origin of matter to the most intricate organisms on Earth, into two hours. The structure hangs on an interview a journalist conducts with an unnamed scientist, played by Andrzej Chyra, whose talk moves between social questions and scientific ones. Between those passages the animation makes visible the parts of quantum physics we could not otherwise see. The voice-over is dense but has a dry humour running under it; an experimental science lesson is one way to describe the result. It also goes into the biological foundations of human behaviour, violence and alcoholism among them. Leto works as both a painter and a filmmaker.
