Remember You

Suk-won is a lawyer who lost his memory after an accident. He has nothing of his past in his hands and nobody is telling him anything. One day a woman comes into his life and introduces herself as his former partner. A relationship starts between them. But what she tells him and the fragments that come back to Suk-won do not match. Why she found him becomes the real question. The film, directed by Lee Yoon-jeong, starts like a romantic drama and turns into a thriller, and that change of genre became the most talked-about thing about it. Jung Woo-sung plays Suk-won and Kim Ha-neul the woman. The story does not use the loss of memory merely as a plot device; what it really asks is whether a crime you do not remember is still your crime. A hundred and six minutes.
