Shambhala

Ugandhar Muni's 2025 Telugu film is set in a village in the eighties. After a meteor falls, events begin that cannot be explained. The village holds tightly to its beliefs while the scientist who arrives believes none of them. The film sets that opposition inside horror form; the narrative makes science's failure to explain the engine of its plot. Aadi Saikumar leads. The effects were produced on a limited budget. The tone sits between thriller and horror. Who it's for: those who like Telugu horror. Who it's not for: viewers expecting a consistent explanation; the film accepts the supernatural without argument.
