Two cousins finally receive the inheritance they have been waiting years for. There is a problem with the fortune left to them after their uncle's death: it is not money but illegal goods. To liquidate it they have to sell, and to sell they have to enter that world. Two middle-class young men end up in the middle of a business they know nothing about. Omar El Mohandes works the familiar shapes of Egyptian commercial comedy: fast dialogue, exaggerated supporting characters, misunderstandings stacked on each other. The cousins' incompetence is the source of the humour, while danger stays constantly in the background and keeps the register from becoming pure comedy. Taha Desouky and Essam Omar play the cousins, with Bassem Samra and Tara Emad completing the cast. Who it's for: Viewers who like Egyptian comedy, films that combine crime and humour, and fast-paced commercial cinema. Who it's not for: The plot is familiar and the humour rests largely on local reference. Character depth is not to be looked for.
