What Sivappu Manjal Pachai Is About
Sasi's 2019 Tamil film follows Madhan, a street racer, and Rajasekhar, a traffic policeman. They meet as enemies, and Rajasekhar then marries Madhan's sister and becomes his brother-in-law. The axis is that forced closeness. Rajasekhar wants to stop Madhan in the name of the law while Madhan bows to no one; the narrative vindicates neither and shows that the family tie cannot settle it. Siddharth and G. V. Prakash Kumar lead. The racing sequences take wide space and use real road footage. The close is hard and the narrative offers no reconciliation. Who it's for: those who like Tamil action drama. Who it's not for: viewers for whom road accidents and violence would sit heavily.
