Per Fritzell What Stinsen brinner... filmen alltså Is About
A stationmaster is trying to keep his station from being shut down. The train never arrives, he has to keep explaining the delay to the passengers waiting for it, and meanwhile other people turn up wanting the building for their own purposes, among them a group of Italians who would like to turn it into a pizzeria. The film comes from the musical that the Swedish troupe Galenskaparna och After Shave played to full houses in Gothenburg and Stockholm between 1987 and 1990; the stage sets were moved into a studio and the exteriors were shot at the railway station in Vedum. Claes Eriksson wrote the script and the music and co-directed with Anders Eriksson.
