Sweet Jane

Jane is a woman living with HIV. She is also living with an addiction to heroin. One day she meets Tony. Tony is a young man living with AIDS. He has no family. The meeting happens inside that solitude. A bond forms between the two of them. The account is built on that bond. Both of them are dealing with illness and with addiction at once. The account does not leave their side. The film is put together as a drama. Samantha Mathis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt take the leads, with Bud Cort and Mary Woronov also in the cast, in Joe Gayton’s American film of 1998.
