What Tagore Is About

Tagore builds a secret network that removes the most corrupt figures from every walk of life in a systematic way, and calls it the Anti Corruption Force. As the pressure on the police and the government to find the man behind the killings grows, Balbir Singh is brought in to lead the hunt, helped by Suryam, an ordinary constable in an enormous force who trusts his own instincts. Between them they work out who Tagore is. The film presents justice taken outside the law as heroism and never questions it anywhere; it is the two thousands version of a mould running since the eighties. Chiranjeevi and Prakash Raj appear in V. V. Vinayak’s hundred and seventy five minute Telugu film, completed in 2003.
