The Air He Breathes

Elizabeth has lost her husband. The grief is still with her. She moves back to her home town with her small daughter. The girl is called Emma. She is trying to build a new order. Someone called Tristan lives across the way. People in the town talk about him. What they say is not kind. But Tristan came here after a loss of his own. The two of them carry the same weight. In time they begin to talk. When they grow close the town has something to say about it. Matters left over from the past come out as well. The film was adapted from a novel by Brittainy C. Cherry. Kelcie Stranahan and Ryan Carnes take the leads in Rachel Annette Helson’s American film of 2024.
