What The Corridor Is About
Behzad has been in prison a long time. The offence is manslaughter. He has a son, and the boy does not know his father. When the two are introduced the boy goes through a hard passage. Then the family sets out together. Where they are going is the family of the victim. The aim is to obtain their consent; with it, the man would be released. The account sits between crime and family drama. Raising a child and taking leave are inside the film too. Prison and the question of execution stand in the background. Mohammad Reza Shirkhanloo and Parvin Maleki are in the cast too. Reza Attaran and Hanie Tavassoli take the leads in Behrooz Shoeibi’s Iranian film of 2013.
