The Days When I Don’t Exist

Antoine Martin has a strange condition. He exists only every other day. One day he is there, the next he is not. He cannot fully explain it himself. The people around him have got used to the arrangement. His life is built two days at a time. Then he meets Clémentine. She lives every day. A closeness begins between them. Time does not run the same for the two of them, though. One day they meet, the next they cannot. The situation deepens Antoine’s distress. The film mixes fable, philosophy and everyday life together. Antoine Chappey and Clémentine Baert appear in the hundred and fourteen minute film, a French production Jean-Charles Fitoussi finished in 2003.
