What The Devil by the Tail Is About
A crumbling chateau hotel has found a way to fill its rooms: quietly sabotaging the cars that pass. The stranded drivers have no choice but to stay, the bills get paid, the family survives. One day the car they disable belongs to a bank robber. Now the household has two incompatible wishes, that the man leave at once and that his money stay.
