What The Kung Fu Instructor Is About

One of two rival clans wants to hire a famous martial arts master to train its men, and the master refuses. The side that cannot take no for an answer accuses him of something he did not do and arranges matters so that, defending himself, he has to kill a man. When the townspeople try to lynch him, the only place left to run is to the very clan that trapped him, and there he must teach after all. Sun Chung’s hundred minute Hong Kong film builds its fight scenes on a question of honour and loyalty. Ti Lung and Wong Yu appear in this Shaw Brothers production; it was completed in 1979.
