The Last Berliner

A building in Berlin is being emptied. It is the last unrenovated block in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood has become fashionable in recent years. Most of the tenants have already moved out. One man will not go. His name is Dietmar. His son Tobias tries to talk him round. He wants him to move into social housing. The father will not have it. The conversation turns into an argument. There is an estate agent in the building too. The man appears to be there by chance. The three of them end up facing each other in one flat. The tension climbs step by step. In the end it goes completely out of hand. Pegah Ferydoni and Sebastian Achilles appear in the ninety seven minute film, a German production Gregor Erler finished in 2018.
