What The Little Queen Is About

Julie is two races away from winning the World Cup, at the end of years of work. She likes the spotlight and so does everyone around her. Encouraged by her coach and her doctor, she has been doping since she was fourteen. When the doctor reports her the case is hushed up, but as the thing under the cover grows, lies, pressure and betrayal follow one another. Alexis Durand-Brault built the film on the story of a real Canadian cyclist. The question it asks is not what the athlete did wrong: it is exactly who did this to a child.
