The Prodigal Son

Esa has just come out of prison. He is a small time criminal. He has to get by on the outside. He does it by mugging people in the street. One day someone knocks at his door. It is a psychiatrist called Lindström. Lindström has a strange request. He wants Esa to treat him badly. Esa agrees to it. He is paid for it. He does not know what Lindström actually intends. As it goes on, who is directing whom becomes unclear. The film builds this as a thriller. Hannu Kivioja, Esko Salminen and Markku Peltola appear in the ninety eight minute film, a Finnish production Veikko Aaltonen finished in 1992.
