Outside, the governor is running an election campaign. Michael J. Gallagher made it for a YouTube-based platform and follows the template of dystopia aimed at a young audience. The idea is plain: the test is not a cull but a system for supplying labour. Logan Paul is one of the leads and the release was delayed because of the controversy the performer was involved in at the time. It does not move past the template, though the open ending is notable. Who it is for: viewers who like young adult dystopia and anyone who saw the first film. Who it is not for: anyone wanting original science fiction.
