The Village Barbershop

Art is a barber in a small town. The shop has been in the same place for years. But business is not what it was. The number of customers has dropped. The partner he worked with for years dies. Art is left in the shop alone. Meeting the costs becomes hard. He starts looking for help in the shop. The person who applies is a woman called Gloria. At first Art does not warm to the idea. With no other choice left he agrees. The two of them begin working in the same shop. The woman has troubles of her own. The account stands between comedy and drama. The change in the town is part of the film as well. John Ratzenberger and Shelly Cole take the leads, with Cindy Pickett also in the cast, in Chris J. Ford’s American film of 2008.
