What The Whole Shootin' Match Is About
Lloyd and Frank are lifelong friends. Both of them live in Austin. They see themselves as entrepreneurs. What they are after is an idea that will make them rich fast. Lloyd develops a new invention. He is sure this one will finally make them rich. The invention combines a mop, a vacuum cleaner and a floor polisher. The two of them have been chasing that success their whole lives. But before prosperity arrives, reality intrudes. The film runs comedy and drama together. Doris Hargrave and Eric Henshaw are also in the cast. Lou Perryman and Sonny Carl Davis take the leads in Eagle Pennell’s American film of 1979.
