What The World of Silence Is About

Jung-ho, a celebrated photographer, can read what people are thinking, and he left the country after his girlfriend took her own life in front of him. On his return he becomes the temporary guardian of Soo-yeon, a small girl whose mother is in a coma. A run of terrible events around him draws the suspicion of Detective Kim, and then the child disappears too. Cho Ui-seok uses the mind-reading not as a superpower but as a weight nobody could carry: hearing everything and being able to stop none of it. Kim Sang-kyung plays Jung-ho and Park Yong-woo the detective.
