A young woman starts work as a teacher. Her class is made up of adults. The lesson is reading and writing. All of her students are men. Some are boys and some are old. The class is not easy to hold. One of them is particularly unruly. He writes on an examination paper that he loves her. She is troubled by it. The other students take her side against him.
