Through the Forest

Armelle has lost the man she loved. His name was Renaud. She cannot get him out of her mind. Her days pass in that thought. Her sister makes a suggestion to her. She tells her to go and see a medium. Armelle takes up the suggestion. She goes to the medium’s house. There she comes across a young man. He strangely resembles Renaud. Armelle is caught by that resemblance. Something begins between the two of them. Armelle starts putting him in Renaud’s place. The young man does not know what to make of it. The account stands between the real and the imagined. Morgane Hainaux and Alice Dubuisson are in the cast as well. Jehnny Beth and Aurélien Wiik take the leads in Jean-Paul Civeyrac’s French film of 2005.
