What Underdog Is About
Two Tarahumara brothers want to become the best ultramarathon runners in the world, and what holds them together runs as deep as the running itself. When a cartel forces them into carrying drugs, both their ambition and their family are put at risk, and they have to act together to take their own future back. Gerardo Dorantes's first feature is about how organised crime has worked its way inside the Tarahumara community in Chihuahua, and it is drawn from a true story.
