Unruled Paper

Royaa is a woman with two children. She has a dream. She wants to be a writer. She has carried that wish a long time. In the end she starts writing. Her husband is called Jahangir. The man works as an architect. But his business is not transparent. Royaa’s starting to write stirs something in the house. The balance between the two of them is upset. Their conversations start going somewhere else. As the account moves on, what is visible changes. Nothing is quite as it looks at first. The film is built on that uncertainty. Khosro Shakibai and Hedie Tehrani take the leads, with Jamileh Sheikhi also in the cast, in Nasser Taghvai’s Iranian film of 2002.
