Vir Das: Fool Volume

Vir Das walks on stage and talks. The show is called Fool Volume. Most of what he tells happened to him. There is what he went through with the police. There is the matter of the evil eye. There is also a period when he lost his voice. It went at exactly the wrong moment. Das opens all of this up one piece at a time. The mishaps are not really the point though. What he is after is what embracing foolishness gives you. He does not mean thinking less of yourself, he means taking yourself less seriously. From there he arrives at an idea of shared happiness. He stands alone on stage from beginning to end. Vir Das is on stage for the sixty four minute show, an Indian production Das finished in 2025.
