Visibility Zero

Angelos Kreouzis comes out of a shipwreck alive. He is then brought before the board of inquiry. There he says that what happened was not an accident. He describes how the ship had been left without maintenance. He puts the blame on the men who sent it out in that state. From there the account opens onto a wider conflict. On one side stand the workers. On the other stand their employers. The film keeps that tension at its centre. Finos Film produced it and Mimis Plessas wrote the music. The song that came out of it became one of the best known of its time. Lefteris Papadopoulos wrote the words. Nikos Kourkoulos, Mairi Hronopoulou and Manos Katrakis appear in the hundred and nineteen minute film, a Greek production Nikos Foskolos finished in 1970.
