Wedding in Bessarabia

A young couple marry in Romania. The groom is a conductor from Bucharest. The bride is a pianist from Moldova. The wedding is done and the matter looks closed. Then an idea occurs to them. They could hold a second wedding in Moldova. That way they could raise the money for a new flat. The decision is made and off they go. The wedding in Moldova is another world. The traditions are different and so are the habits. The two families come face to face. A quiet contest starts up between them. Who is more generous, who has better manners. The film works that difference as comedy. Vlad Logigan and Victoria Bobu appear in the ninety two minute film, a Romanian, Moldovan and Luxembourgish co-production Nap Toader finished in 2010.
