In the eighties West Berlin was still an island in the middle of East Germany, and six people shared a squat in Kreuzberg. By the end of the decade they had scattered, all except Tim and Hotte, who kept living the way they always had. Then in 2000 a bomb they planted years earlier finally goes off, the police open a file, and the six have no choice but to get back together. Gregor Schnitzler runs it as a heist comedy and as a reckoning between old friends at the same time: some of them went straight, some never moved. Til Schweiger is in the group, and the real question is who gave up what, and why.
