White Soup

A woman is looking for the father of her grandchild. Her daughter has had a baby. She will not say who the father is. The mother becomes fixed on finding out. Her daughter is little help. What the girl does say leads nowhere. The woman starts asking on her own. She goes from door to door. In time the search turns dangerous. She runs into things she did not expect. Along the way she has to face her own past, and what she has kept hidden comes out. She has to get through her deepest fears, and the struggle gives her daughter something too. Katarzyna Figura and Natalia Rybicka appear in the seventy two minute film, a Polish production Ryszard Brylski finished in 2003.
