Yuki & Nina

Yuki is a girl of nine. She lives in Paris. Her father is French and her mother is Japanese. One day she learns that her parents are separating. The news does not come on its own. Yuki is to move to Japan with her mother. The two things together turn her world over. Her closest friend Nina stands by her. The two of them make a plan. They will try to bring the grown-ups back together. What they try is put together with a child’s reasoning. Bringing two people at odds together is not easy. In the end they choose to run away. The two of them take refuge in the forest. The account moves along beside the two girls. Noë Sampy and Arielle Moutel take the leads, with Hippolyte Girardot also in the cast. Girardot made the ninety two minute film with Nobuhiro Suwa in 2009.
