Nandita Das's 2023 Indian film follows Manas, who lost his job during the pandemic. He was a floor manager at a factory and now delivers food through an app. The work itself is the subject. Ratings, delivery windows and the incentive scheme shape his day; the narrative does not turn the app into a malicious enemy, it simply shows how it operates. Kapil Sharma appears outside comedy, and Shahana Goswami, as his wife, starts working, which creates its own tension at home. The tone is low-key and there are no large events. Who it's for: viewers of realist drama about work. Who it's not for: viewers expecting a resolution; the film ends without changing the situation.
