Plot
When Song Xiaoyu is unexpectedly pulled into a scripted world as a tragic heroine fated to be discarded by the villainous male lead, she tries to escape, only to be trapped in an endless loop of fatal outcomes each time she strays from the plot. No matter how hard she resists, the story keeps pushing her toward Nan Heng, the cold and calculating lead. As she navigates this paper-thin world where every character is bound by fate, Song Xiaoyu must fight not just for her survival, but for control over her own story.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like A Dream Within a Dream to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 67 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
