Ibrahim is a set-in-his-ways man who is blindsided on his birthday when he's forced to become the legal guardian of a daughter he never knew - a young woman who is equally reluctant to have him in her life. What begins as an awkward obligation slowly transforms both of them. Starring Maged El Kedwany, this warm comedy-drama about absent fathers, second chances and unexpected family bonds ran for multiple seasons on Shahid.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like Family Matter to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 69 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
