A chronicle of the tempestuous campaign trail rivalry between Labour Party leader Ad Melkert and flamboyant newcomer Pim Fortuyn, as they go head-to-head leading up to the Netherlands’ 2002 general elections.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like Het jaar van Fortuyn to the top of a film catalogue.
