I Have to Die Every Night
Plot
Snapshot of the sophisticated and exclusive gay nightlife of one of the most emblematic clubs in 1980s’ Mexico City, where people living under the weight of a repressive society that marginalized them felt the need to express an exacerbated sense of freedom. Through the eyes of a young man eager to explore the world and live freely in the capital city, the series recreates a slice of life and a decade that shook the world.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like I Have to Die Every Night to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 67 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
