Plot
Mi Yeong, Hye Yeong, Ra Yeong, and Joon Yeong are the kids of Yeong Sil and Han Soo. They seem like the average Seoul family, with the typical Seoul problems, but that all changes when Jung Hui, an actor, and former K-Pop idol, ends up in their doorstep claiming that Han Soo is his biological father. The family goes through thick and thin, one marriage after the other, trying to figure out why their father happens to be strange.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like My Father is Strange to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 68 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
