The Days
Plot
The Days are your typical, average American family... at least on the outside. Father Jack is a corporate lawyer who quits his job at a pharmaceutical company in the midst of a mid-life crisis. Mother Abby has recently re-entered the workforce as an advertising executive after taking time off to raise their children. Eldest child Natalie is homecoming queen and the most popular girl in school, until she learns she's pregnant. Middle child, aspiring writer and series narrator Cooper, counts the days before graduation. And youngest, child prodigy Nathan, is prone to panic attacks.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like The Days to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 67 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
