The Good Side of Life
Plot
The Good Side of Life tells the story of a naïve young man from the countryside who was abandoned as a newborn against the will of his mother, and who goes to the big city to look for her. There he will also have the chance to meet the love of his life once again. Candinho's optimism and good humor are his allies against life's difficulties, including the plots of two scoundrels that cross his path.

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like The Good Side of Life to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 65 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
