Marco Giallini
8 films
Six times the David di Donatello archive put Marco Giallini forward, from 2010 to 2016, and six times the award went elsewhere; the institution's winners' side holds nothing under his name. Three of the six attach to identifiable films: supporting actor for A.C.A.B. in 2012, then lead for God Willing in 2015 and Perfect Strangers in 2016. God Willing lists him first. Our own count adds something absent from the archive: of his eight titles here, the one carrying by far the most votes, 4,639 of them, is Perfect Strangers, which is also one of those three nominations.
