199 lives: The Travis Pastrana Story

The documentary is about the motocross rider Travis Pastrana. Pastrana is a known name in freestyle motocross. The film builds his story out of several sources. Race footage is one strand of the account. Rarely seen personal film is another. Interviews with Pastrana are inside it as well. So are conversations with his family. The material is gathered from across his career. The work is put together as a sports documentary. Andy Bell appears in the film too. The account takes in both the track and what happens away from it. Interviews and footage run in turn. Pastrana appears in it as himself. Gregg Godfrey’s American documentary of 2008 runs eighty four minutes.
